WE WIN!!!!!!!!! AND SECOND!!!!!! CHAMPAGNE!!!!!!! FORZA FERRARI!!!!!!!! And nice third for Alonso! Williams and McLaren have some work to do Greets, Alex.
PLEASE WATCH THE TITLES OF YOUR THREADS! I watched the race just now, but if I had not seen the race and stumbled onto F-chat the title "Hooray" would give up too much. Then again, I don't log onto F-chat until AFTER I have seen the race. It just sucks to learn the hard way, thats all.
scuderia 1-2 is always nice....although it would have be nice to see a little more excitement in the race...but its nice to see renaut do well
Just got back from watching the race here in Las Vegas. What a race!!!!!!!! Ferrari 1 & 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forza FERRARI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even as a fan of the F1 team for 36 years, I have to admit that this weekend was one of the most dominant performances I've ever seen. To me the red cars didn't seem the slightest bit threatened all weekend. I just wonder if this is a flash-in-the-pan or whether this will be 2002 all over again. It's obvious that Brawn, Byrne, Todt et al are pure geniuses. (And the drivers aren't bad, either!)
I don't know about anyone else, but every time I see a performance like that, the Triumphal March from Aida dances through my head!
If Ferrari keeps dominating like this we can celibrate them locking up the championship in Indy this year.. Forza Ferrari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont think so. I honestly think that they Williams BMW showed that they are not as good as the preseason testing showed. Yes the car was fast but so was the McLaren, Renault, BAR's. The speed we saw durring preseason testing were not a fluke. The majority of the field is faster this year Just look at the practice times over half of the cars were under the old track record... The fact is right now Ferrari is at the top of the game the Renaults and BAR's are much better than last year and BMW and McLaren have slipped back while they get a handle on there new designs. Rob
I felt like I was watching the 2002 season all over. It really doesn't bother me that much to see Ferrari walk away with the victory from the beginning. Pretty soon people will be complaining once again about there dominance but I feel everyone else just needs to sep up to them. What did shock me was the start of the race when Alonso just shot past Montoya. What did they do to that car!!!???
Remember, the Williams (like the McLaren) is a brand new concept and is still being developed. Ferrari is lucky that they had a proven concept that just needed some normal development to stay ahead of the rest. I'm pretty sure it will not be so easy later in the season. (Though we can all hope that it will be!)
well done.....i could almost see the writing on the wall after the first practice session on friday when ms smashed the track record on his second lap....what a dominating performance....the other teams had best raise their game and fast or we are going to see this championship wrapped up by mid-season....not that i'm complaining though.....
After Ferrari's dominating performance yesterday, it sounded like Bernie and a few others are unhappy with it. They wanted a closer race and didn't get one. People on other boards already mentioned a boring season. Problem is not Ferrari. The other teams just have to step up and compete.
I agree, although the Ferrari team is a class act, the other teams are still developing. The way Renualt launches will be very tough for anyone once they get a poll position. Malasyia will be hotter and Im thinking things will be closer. Then we will see just how much Bridgestone has improved. As for the other teams, Renualt and BAR will improve, Williams will find more speed, Toyota, Jordan and Minardi are nowhere, Webber would have finished in points if Jag wouldnt have failed him, What happened to Sauber?? I really was expecting more from them. Mclaren is a question mark and too early to tell if their season will be bonkers. As for now, Forza the Scuderia.
