Ouch. Seems like a bad one. Was the driver hurt badly?

In fact, the car was stolen by two mens, both injured in the accident.

I also know a Testarossa stolen which finished in a river !! What a pity !!

As disturbing as they are, I have seen many 328 wreck pictures. And I'm very impressed by the strength of this car. I can't recall ever seeing one that had the passenger compartment intruded upon. Very impressive indeed considering the technology available during the 80's.

    On that note, Dave 328,

I once read a recounting of a 3X8 that was clipped on the rear corner by a tractor trailer rig on the highway at speed.

The car was spun flat across the front grill of the truck, and pushed sideways down the freeway until the novice driver in the truck could stop. Flat tires, torn from the rims, etc.

The driver's door, which was against the truck grill, still opened!

My car has been hit hard, T boned, and suffered no permanent damage.
Although hanging a new door into an old opening on these cars looks like an episode of Monster Garage! LOL!
