The second Saturday of each month, there is a cruise in downtown Sebring featuring classic, custom and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles. Because Ferrari will be inducted into the Sebring International Raceway Hall of Fame this year as the car manufacturer nominee, we thought it would be only fitting to ask the area Ferrari enthusiasts if they would like to come and put their vehicles on display during the March event. The idea would be to have the Ferrari group park near the site of the former tourist club, where (in the old days) the cars were given their tech inspection before the big race. I had talked to Barton Workman about having a group of Ferrari enthusiasts, and he recommended the Scuderia Sarasota as one that might be interested. The event will begin at 5:00 on and around the Circle in downtown Sebring. It generally ends about 8:00 in the evening (although there is ample opportunity to leave earlier if time is an issue.) The event is coordinated by Justin Williams at Horace Williams Office Supply in Sebring (863.382.8585 or they can contact me at 863.385.6155 ext 536.) We would be delighted to have Ferraris in attendance, and if there is anything we can do to facilitate your trip and/or stay, please let us know.
I asked the same thing and they bumped up the starting time by like two hours. Nice aviatar Paulie. It takes some real skill to make an image like that! BHW
