You missed a beautiful day today. Nice warm 90 degree weather clear sky's. Perfect weather to drive down the coast. Summer is here!!
Ahhh, yea, wasn't it nice? The rain is finally over, the sun is out, and so are the Ferrari's. Imagine how much fun the guys on the FDC drive had.
Here in New Orleans it was crystal clear and 77 degrees. So awesome that I went to go play golf with a friend and ended up having the craziest round of golf I have ever had BY FAR Here is my scorecard: bogey bogey bogey birdie bogey birdie par birdie eagle bogey par par bogey birdie par par par birdie -1 How is THAT for a rollercoaster? I wasn't sure if I should be ecstatic or depressed.LOL
I forgot to add that I went to the range yesterday to practice. That was my first time picking up a club since Thanksgiving. Even more impressive was my playing partner. Had not touched a club since August. He ended up -1 as well. With an Eagle on a par 4. The next hole I lipped out a hole in one. We both were going shot for shot. I have 4 tests this week, and am DYING to get back on the course Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For me the golf bug comes and goes. What happens typically is that I pick it back up because I want to see if I can still play. I go out and post a great number, so the wheels start spinning again. I practice hard for about 2 months, only to get completely frustrated with the game because my game falls apart and is not as good as it was when I began the cycle. I give up for a little while, then for some reason decide to come back. I guess my problem is that I have trouble keeping things simple. This demonstrates to me just how much of your mental game contributes to your on course success. I imagine the same is for F1 drivers. They must have some of the best mental discipline on Earth when driving their cars. *Sigh* What a crazy game
Thank you mighty! Love the clear blue skies. I never appreciated Southern California lifestyle, till I moved away three years ago. Now I yearn to just get back and spend time down there relaxing.
Saturday was an awesome day to go paintballing, and then spend the night in Hollywood. Today was awesome too, but I was too tired to do anything. I'm so scared for when I move to Philadelphia. I like my 65 degree winters!
GOOD LUCK to you buddy I live in SF and I can barely take the winters! Growing up in So Cal has spoiled me
YEah bout 75 or so and sunny in Dallas but remember the less fortunate... :laughs: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have been to that Pizza shop it is in halifax Nova Scotia. they have great Donairs.... (if you don't know you don't want one)
Love to but I'm stuck in the office and the camera is @ home... Should still be nice enough to draw out the hot chicks for my evening run on the beach when I get home though
I remember you telling us about your mom/sister being stuck out there in the crazy storm. I live in San Francisco and anything under 50 and I don't even venture outside for the fear of cold.
91 in Austin, not a cloud in the sky. But we consider 91 degrees to be spring not summer.................
Is it really THAT hot in Austin? I was considering applying to UT Austin Law school, and weather is an important criteria. Hmm. I was in Houston for 4th of July last year, and I could not stand the humidity. How is the weather in Austin August-June? (About school year time)
