on another forum i belong to(r1-forum.com) a member posted this:

"Wow, saw a Ferrari "Enzo" Saturday at about 4:45 taking a right to go down Allen Parkway (nice speed/twisty road within the city). I was in a buddies' car going the other direction. Well, at 4:48 I saw what I thought was a house fire in the distance. Naturally, we rush to the scene to watch a fire and finish my cold one. Well, guess what! Its not a house, but something more valuable. Thats right, the "Enzo"! She was engulfed in flames. The driver had lost controll at the end of the road before it enters downtown Houston. His backend got loose and he shot over a curb at an alleged 100+ mph, under a link fence, and then the rear hit an enormous oak tree. Thats when it exploded. The driver was able to get out and walk away in time. It was very shocking scene for me. The car was actually burning in a minority based low income housing project. I got a small chunk of it (red plastic piece) thatclip in somewhere. My buddy bought a nice carbon fibre body piece of a little black boy for $5. It made his day. By the way, I did not witness the actual accident, but spoke with a witness and overheard the driver speaking with police.
I was also at the Ferrari dealer when this same guy test drove ithe Enzo for the first time. Kinda weird I saw the start and end of this guys "Enzonership". He is a very lucky man to be alive.

Just thought I would share that story. My buddy took cell camera shots. No way to download though"

    anybody know anything about it?

    ****, that sounds nasty!!

Lets hope nobody was hurt ... or any uninsured property was destroyed.

Won't be long and these supercars will be making negative headlines, with this stupid and immature increasing hp craziness at the moment. I actually think Ferrari restricted the Enzo to try and put a cap on this silliness.

Let it hang out on the track guys and show due respect on the roads ... before we all loose out :(

OK... Why does everything these days have to deal with ethnicity?

it looks like your the only one that has a problem with ethnicity.your the only one trying to make an issue out of nothing.

this is not meant to offend anyone...

i try to live my life as a good person, meaning i don't go looking to start trouble,but...i also try to live my life as up front as much as i can.if i don't have anything good to say i usually don't,unless someone either asks my opinion or provokes me.then i speak my mind.i don't like how this country has be come so politically correct.it all seems we are a bunch of sheep doing our best to not say even the littlest thing that someone can mis-interpet.i quoted the original post because it was quicker than re-typing it word for word.what's the big deal with saying he bought a part from a black boy?would you have preferred african american child?oh...but wait...that denotes racism too....have you ever decribed a ferrari or a lambo as an italian car?or have you ever said that only the italians know how to design a car that can stir the soul?

everybody says racist things without meaning them so i see nothing wrong with that quote.if you do,well...continue living life in the flock.i posted this to see if anyone knew anything about that enzo burning to the ground.if you don't like my response, then you might as well put me on your ignore list.i will not change who or what i am for you as i don't expect you to change for me.

I believe the angle of the pic is deceptive in regard to length. Of course I cannot prove it, I submit I still believe its an Enzo washer nozzle. The curves are exact in mirror image (nee drivers side).

Never mind. The original owner wouldn't but the SECOND owner would.

I'm going for drivers side nozzle too.

Maybe this will help, looks right to me, you can see where the mounting 'stalk' would attach on the underside.

Well, I'm in Houston and haven't heard this. But the smoke would blend in with Pasadena from my vantage point of Downtown. :)

FWIW, I don't believe the dealer has an unsold Enzo at this time.
    Shall I ring "my sources"???????
