This is my first post here since becoming the proud owner of this car last summer. I've finished a minor restoration job on it. I'm thinking of changing the bumpers to Euro style. Any thoughts? Were is the best place to look for them?

I replaced the carpets/mats on the interior. Replaced the original tape deck with an Alpine CD. New Tires. Minor body work. Put a new exhaust system on it along with a new exhaust cover. New wires, plugs, filters etc. The only thing I really have left to do is replace the 'stay' that holds the engine cover up. I will post more pics shortly.

Would anyone mind posting a pic to compare the Euro/ US spec bumpers? I've often heard these talked about but never seen them side by side.

    THanks,

    Car looks beautiful.

Wish my father had opted for a 3X8 over the TR6 that he bought.

Here's one more pic of the car before I did the 'bumper mod'. I'm going on vacation for 12 days so I won't be able to post new pics until then. Once more...stay tuned

You might check with SPASSO. He restored his 308 and installed euro bumpers on a great looking car.

    Very nice car!!!
Good idea, euro bumpers...! It's better...

Is it possible to take off lateral reflectors? How are they assembled to the body?
I think that it's more esthetic without...

I would just like to see a side by side photo of Euro vs. US. Or before/after shots. Thanks

Sorry JonnyT, I cannot see the difference. I need side on shots of before and after or something. I feel like the Emperor with no clothes and I am outside some secret club ;)
