Haha I hear that. Im not doubting this at all. We Americans must like wrecking aweasome cars. We destroyed the wildlife, the air, the country sides, the entire Native American culture pretty much as well, why not move on to Aweasome cars.

I'im suprised that someone has not posted one yet. Allen Parkway runs along a nice jogging / bike path is one of the main routes to downtown Houston. There are also some nice condos over there as well.

That's the part that sounds plausible.

At the end of Allen Parkway (no relation to this writer) you pass Allen Parkway Village an old public housing project. A park there has plenty of old oaks.

I'll be right back. A buddy of mine used to be on Jamail's record label, with Waylon Jennings...........

Prowler, the original author didn't see fit to mention the race of the Enzo driver, only the little boy who took a piece of carbon fiber from the accident. Had it been a little white boy he wouldn't have mentioned the race of the kid. Had the driver been anything other than white, the author would've mentioned it. Were the driver female this thread would be 10 pages full of derogatory comments since most of you do not fear women that aren't your girlfriends or wives. As it is, most of you have enough common sense to curb your racist thoughts in public. There isnt enough time in the day to point out inherent racism but I thought I'd take a few seconds today.

Sometimes it's not racisim though. The kid being mentioned as black adds imagery to the story which is up to the reader to decide if it's a racist stereotype or not. Same if the driver was a woman (sexist in this case). Same if it's an 18 year old or 30 something guy; and in this story we thought "spoiled kid" instead of mature man with an older rich father.

I only cry "racisim (or whatever isim)" when we unfairly draw negative conclusions from it. In this case we did that with the driver crashing his father's car and we assumed "spoiled". I didn't think noting the boy was black was out of line. Maybe I'm racist and don't realize it?

I saw it first hand, not the accident, but the fire after the fact. The vids were taken by my friend James.

    Thanks for posting Erin.
