Anyone know of a internet site were i can get high end car cleaning products for my new ferrari?
I am sure that there are a number of suppliers for detail products for F-cars, but I only have one source: Italian Car Parts. Good luck. Jim
www.carcareonline.com Has lots of products from a variety of manufacturers, and good advice. No affiliation...
"Griot's Garage" I've used their detailing & car care products for over a year now. Yes, some of the stuff is pricey, but the quality is there...and a little of the product goes a long way. www.griotsgarage.com 1-800-345-5789 I do not work for this outfit, nor do I know anyone that works there...I simply like some of the stuff they sell. And again, the car care chemicals are hard to beat.
Emmons Coachworks. http://www.emmonscoachworks.com/ Have never used them or their products, by know people who swear by them.
Griot's Garage is good. Some of their cleaning products are excellent, "Best of show" wax is nice stuff. If you want to go with synthetic polymer zaino brothers. www.Zainostore.com , I've used this with great results on newer finishes. Finally, leatherique.com sells excellent leather products, cleanin and restoring. Used on my Dino with geat success.
find a quality auto body supply store and look at the entire Meguires product line. it is different than the stuff they sell thru mega sized auto parts stores. the quality is great and batch consistency is there. most pebble beach concourse restorers use them for prep b4 a show. there are a lot of products you can pick exactly what you need for the job at hand.
http://www.properautocare.com/index.html -- this is a very good source and their monthly email newsletter is always very informative. Each month they focus on a different topic -- convertible top care was a recent example. No affiliation.
If you haven't been following the series in the FCA NewsBulletin (Ferrari Club of America), check out the Concours/Detailing Tips archive at www.fca-se.org/concours.htm
Since you asked, DriveWerks has one of the largest selection of cleaners and polishes out there from basic Mothers to Zymol: http://www.drivewerks.com/catalog/car_care/DWKS_car_care.htm The Einszett stuff in particular has been very popular lately: http://www.drivewerks.com/catalog/shopcart/CARE/POR_CARE_einszt-detail.htm -Wayne
