Took these pictures over the weekend, so here they are. Enjoy and comments are welcome! Oh and it's about 1000HP if you add them up! =) Here is the link of ALL 10 pictures: http://www.jimmy540i.com/bbs/messages/4109.html Regards, JIMMY 4 Pics Here:
Jimmy, Nice pics as always, but you knew that I spent most of my online time at your website already Question, where is your other ducati? Need pics already! And also, I am thinking of doing the DINAN 210 HP package on my mini. I have never worked with them or used thier products, so some info would be appreciated, as far as quality and stuff goes. WIsh DINAN made wheels for my mini, as I have recenly found out my hamann wheels are considered "german rice" OH by the way, if you EVER sell that crotch rocket, I will refund my R1 deposit, and buy it from you!
Thanks and enjoy the site. I haven't had the time to update my 996 Mono in the site, I will just to that in the near future. Dinan has 210HP package for Mini-S? I didn't know that, I will check with Steve Dinan about that. I'm not getting a rid of the 996s anytime soon, I will let you know if I want to sell it. Why R1, honestly, I would prefer a 748 (though it has less HP), Duc corners like it's on rails.
One of the best sites, with great photography! Once the 996 mono is up, I will have to spend more time on the site..LOL. Ryan, owner of F355 and two Ducs, was telling me here today that the 998 has far more advanced technology than the 996. Can you compare the 998 to the 996? Also the 996 vs the 748? I know they are diff, but do the best if you can I never considered the 996/998 because I thought it would be too heavy for my frame. I am about 5'6" 140, so my gixxers are as big as I want to go. So how are weight comparion 748 vs 996 vs 998? I have the deposit on the R1, because it is one of the fastest liter bikes out there. I need a change from my gixxers, and it looks pretty nice. I would love to pick up a 748 or 998/996 by later this year or earlier next year, so keep your eyes peeled for me if you have any leads. Yeah I was going to do the John Cooper Works kit for the mini, but felt 6K for 200 HP kit was too much. DINAN is releasing it in about 2 weeks, have been anxiously waiting for 11 months. If you have any contacts, I would really appreciate it, as I really want to do it.
I don't know how to resise pics other wise I would have posted some pics of my 355 and Diana stage III M coupe. But the GSXR is stolen few months ago. I bet though that BMW will beat that 360. Does it??
Looks good but scuderia on a Bmw is just horrible. Not that BMW or Scuderia is bad in anyway but keep the car original.
Jimmy Nice cars, but you still need to learn how to ride that bike. You have the best set of chicken stripes I've seen in along time!
I am sorry to hear your loss. They stole my GSXR right in front of my house while I was in there. I was shocked man cause I live in pretty nice subdivision and they must have put it in a truck cause with the Yoshi you could hear it from a mile away. What are you gonna do life goes on.
Actually I have 3 Bikes (2 Ducati) and this 996 Bip is the one I ride the very least, I ride the Mono quite often.
Their shop bites. They screwed up a bunch of stuff on my car. I've heard from other people that had similar experiences. Some of their products work well but are overpriced. Some of their products, like chips and some of their exhausts, don't do anything for you.
Realy? DAMN! I gave up on the john cooper works kit, ,and the DINAN was my only hope. Otherwise I am stuck wtih a 163 HP mini
mini cooper 5 speed 2535 lb mini cooper auto 2568 lb mini cooper S 6spd 2590 lb Btw check my ducati questions on the first page of this thread, ifyou have a min.
Sorry if I missed this part. I'm not a tech, here is what I know. Yes, 998 is more advance than the 996. 996 has 996 desmoquattro engine which is different than 998's Testastretta heads that's being used on the 999. 996 & 998 Max @ 8500RPM while the 748 Max @ 10000RPM. As for the riding height, you might need to lower the bike. 2 of my riding budies are 5' 6" and they both have to lower thier bike. The other 6 ft dude is too tall for the bike. I think the ideal height of iding a 748/916/996/998 would be 5'10" (in general speacking of lef length)
How is the handling affected when lowering the bike? My gixxers are perfect for me. I have a friend who is 5'4" rides a gix 1000 and shaved the seat. I have heard of dog bones but I hear that they mess up the handling. Thanks for the info
