Just been to Maranello's in Sevenoaks today. They will do servicing however they send your car by trailer to their main service facility in Egham. The guys were quite chatty and looking forward to meeting some more owners.

    Joe,
Is it me that doesn't make sense or them?Apparently there are no servicing facilities on site. Also they cannot store your car overnight as they haven't got the space because they put their cars away. Therefore if you leave our car there it is at yuor own risk/insurance so I'm led to believe.

That's what thought.I only popped down because I was being nosey and wanted to take the car for a spin.Just thought I would let you all know my findings and let you draw your own conclusions.

The big shock to me is that they now admit to having a trailer. A friend of mine recently used Egham, paid a substantial bill and was told they (the UK's biggest dealer) did not have a trailer!!

They shouldn't be putting your Ferraris onto trailers anyway.
They should have an enclosed truck.
One of those where the box comes off the back so you can drive into it.

I think, in fact, they have splashed out. I'm sure a mate of mine supplied them, on the QT like, a second had tow bar for their 1972 Ford Transit, a length of washing line (he knicked out of somebodies garden) and, the hardest thing to get for nought, one of them screwy bolt thingies that can go in the front of your motor. All in all some right proper kit for something around 13p
