I came across a dupont Registry from December of 93'. I found it interesting to look at the prices of the Ferrari's and other cars for sale. Thought I would share some:
    1988 Mondial 3.2 coupe red/tan 6500 miles asking 79,900
    1988 Testarossa 5,000 miles 101,000
    1991 Testarossa 5,000 miles 120,000
    1991 F-40 1200 miles 350,000
    1982 308gtsi 17,000 miles 43,500
    1991 348 ts 1500 miles 81,995
    1966 275 GTB/2 long nose alloy body 325,000
    1980 512 BB 149,000

Interesting, Rob. Wow have these prices fallen. I still hold to my 45% of MSRP rule. The cars generally flatten once they reach 45% of MSRP. At least the V-8's. Haven't a clue about the 12's.

This data is after the market peak in 1989.

    Boxers were $400-500k US...275s were pushing $600k.

Here's data for the 250 GTO ...most other models had simialr shapes, but lower absolute values.

I've got to dig thru my old magazines and see if I can find any of my Hemmings issues from the late 80's. I remeber 308's going for 80,000+

Isn't it funny...in another 10 years, we're going to be going through our old copies of FML and DuPont, saying, "Jeez, I remember when 360's were going for $150,000." :D

A depreciating car gathers no moss.
