It's for raising and lowering ride height before and after running over a pedestrian (shown as a stick figure on the button).
You think correctly. It IS a traction control button mainly for use in slippery conditions. You may want to read your book before getting into trouble. I can't see myself driving mine under those conditions.
Thats the low-friction button and I believe its to be used in slippery conditions. The ASR button is traction control isn't it...? j3nzo
Indeed for sliperry conditions. Apart from starting in 2nd it also upshifts around 4-5k RPM and doesn't let you downshift if the engine would rev higher than that.
