    i am re doing my leather on door panels + over by the rear window on my 308 gtsi . need to get a full hide for all of this i come a cross this CO RICH LEATHER in englewood CO anybody in the past got leather from RICH LEATHER? the prise is very good $ 3.99 per square foot is this the best plase to get leather from at this price?? any info on this? thanks.

    you might also check "Re-Originals" in texas if i'm not mistaken (sorry don't have more info than that).

    there's an outfit called "Veteran" as well (again, no contact info) that seems to have nice stuff.

    apparently these guys have new-old-stock connolly hides.

    I just bought a half of a black hide from Bill Hirsh. I got the grade that they sell as an alternative to Connolly now that it's not available. It was $7.25 a square foot. Expensive, yes, but definitely worth it. The hide is gorgeous, flaw free, and has a smooth grain very similar to Connolly.

    Of course, they have a wide variety of different grades of leathers, including various thicknesses, grains and shades. Some are a lot cheaper. They can send you an assortment of swatches to most closely match the rest of your interior. In fact, I would definitely recommend getting swatches from any supplier you're considering before you buy a whole hide.

    Great info. I'm in the process of making one of those leather covers for the alarm key fob. Dealer does not sell them...so if you have one take good care of it!

    www.gahh.com sell hides too. I bought a door panel kit form them ready to install, the leather is really nice, I was very happy with it.
