OK - so what's the deal with Crystal Cove now?

I think they open it up ay 7 now. I came at about 8:15 last week and I had to park in the back - Behind the cafe!

 

I've been getting there about 6:50 or so, and wait in line until they let us in.

I'll probably be there tomorrow, but without my GT4- The seats are out and getting restored, finally.

Oh, cool Dom - Looking forward to seeing the new seats! Your seats were always covered - Are they black or tan?

 

They are black with red piping. I hated those damn seat covers, just never had time to do anything about it. Underneath, the stitching on the seats was torn, and dry rotted. Other than that, the leather was in pretty good condition, (i.e., not faded or worn). So, I'm getting several sections replaced, and the seats restitched.

My only regret- I forgot the take a before picture

No Dom, I can't do any stitching. Plus I would be afraid to do someone else's car - But I am always willing to help with a project.

 

I will be there taking pics like Jordan does lol....hope to see your cars there as well as any other surprises that might arise

 

Is CC on for sure tomorrow. Thinking about bringing the car. How early should I arrive?

I get there just before 7:00 AM and I get in and park 3 rows from the front. I arrive about 6:45 AM and wait in line. I got a picture of the my car last week and I thank all of you who went and took the pictures. You must go it's fun!!!!!!

 

One question. Why so freaking early everytime?

I need to get some open road milage so i will be there in time to wake the roosters. damn that is early, g/f just left, so i may actually get some sleep tonight.

look for the blue and white 'rotations' jersey, that'll be me. don't be shy boys, come up and say hi!

 

I have a unique idea for a photo location to get some good "in motion" shots, so I may not be visible half the time at the show, but Ill be there! I think Im going to plant myself on the side of PCH while slightly elevated on that embankment in front of CC in the hopes of getting some shots of you all flying down PCH. Maybe it will work? Hopefully nobody will mind either
