Can anyone recommend a good place? My bro is coming into town, I just moved here a few months ago. No Mortons, No Ruths -I love Ruths but wanna try an LA place. Is there a Brooklyn Lugers type steakhouse over here?? Thanks. p.s. my f- has been sitting in my garage in NJ for months. it's so sad, i think it cries everyday.
Mastros steak house on Cannon in Beverly Hills is amazing. In my opinion Ruths' is a 100 Mastros is a 98 but the atmosphere is 100 times what Ruth;s is get a table upstairs near the Piano Bar. Make a reservation early Good luck
i personally enjoyed pacific dining car. this is because they were open very late and we could walk right in after a night out and have a very good dessert (sp?) Lawrys I have heard is also good. I miss LA sooo much. thad
Ginza Sushi-Ko in Beverly Hills. The best kobe steak when they have it , not a fixed menu . Mainly a high end sushi place (dinner for 2 around $4 or $600.00 -booze extra ). Good eats better if someone picks up the tab.
Don't plan on getting anyone to take you there anytime soon and pay for it. It's not in B. Hills (or even CA) anymore. Masa left for his new place in NYC at the Warner Center complex (or whatever its called). I guess Martha complained about flying out here just for sushi all the time. I'd second Mastro's, although it is popular right now in part due to being a part of the current "in scene."
