"Hey Luca, I found it on the side of the road dead, can I keep it or do we go ahead and throw it away"?
I notice the 6.0 in your avatar. When you upgrade will you go with a 6.0 or with a murci? If not a 6.0, why? Matt
I dont consider either of those an upgrade. The Sv is superior to the 6.0 inmo, and the Murci is a completely different car. I will add, a Murci.
he had that car while he was at benetton since it would obviously be bad form to drive a ferrari.....he also had a bugatti eb110 for a little while. i have subsequently seen both cars being sold by others, for significantly above market value due to the ownership history. his current stable is rumored to be: a barchetta an enzo and a fiat minivan
Hah, at first I thought it was Leno, then I thought it was a young Kerry(don't ask me how the aging worked out....)......I realize the error in my ways.
I don't know what cars he has in his collection, but I wouldn't be surprised if a Lambo would be in there. His new house he is building will have an underground garage for about 50 cars, so chances are they're all over the various brands. Nothing wrong with that. Allegedly he was offered a ride in Melbourne in a BMW and he preferred to walk, hehe. Little side stab to his brother there. However the picture does look like he was younger, so the comment about his Benetton years might be quite right.
I have a picture in a magazine of Michael Shumacher picking up his brand new yellow Bugatti EB110 (for the life of me I can't find it now). The car was yellow and part of a little shopping spree that MS indulged in when things were taking off for him at Benetton. As a funny aside, MS actually crashed this car into the back of a truck in stop and go traffic when he had his eyes off the road to adjust the radio; I guess it happens to the best of them. The truck driver ironically asked MS for his autograph because the previous month, one of Germany's leading soccer players also ran into the back of his truck but none of his friends believed him when he told the story. The truck driver was not going to let this one pass without some proof of the encounter.
Even cave dwellers know that is Michael Schumacher. You must be one of those people stuck in a box at the bottom of the ocean under a ship under an elephant with a blindfold on.
Even I, would sell my Lambo for 50+million a year and only drive Ferrari's. I did hear he had a tear in eye when he sold the Diablo.
No on has mentioned his fiat 500-a present from luca. His old 456 was up for sale in the uk last year. Its true about the brabus too( for the kids) and the yellow eb110-it had "special" bodywork to suit his needs, and don't forget his ferrari contract states he gets an f1 car of his own at the end of each season!
Never heard that one, but sounds credible. Imagine the museum the Schumacher brothers are one day going to run at their Go Kart track in Kempten, Germany: Ralf collects all F1 cars he has ever driven. Now add Schumi's Ferraris to that. One awesome collection and museum in the making I say.
