Perfect summary, Vik, I could not have said it any better. Thanks for organizing this. My 15 year old son is glad he got his butt out of bed "early" for this. This was a blast. My tach is not working, so I just upshifted when the wipers starting lifting off the windshield. Wandering around millions of dollars worth of great cars, driving ours like they were meant to, beautiful day, and great company.... and, as you said "...secretly asked ourselves if this could get any better."
Not bad getting >1,200 hits...especially considering this is our first "informal" run of the 2004 driving season. Can't wait for the others.
Wow. Thanks for digging this one up. The first major run. *that* was fun. I am sooooooo glad my son didn't see the speedometer or at least pretended not to see it. So, we planning for the next March 14 run?
Vik, one of your pics from that day became famous: http://www.coker.com/store/gallery/index.php?gallery=./Main%20Gallery%20Of%20Submited%20Photos&image=mondiangle.gif
