Hey guys this is one of my few first posts here. I was wondering what the value of my fathers 308 would be. A ballpark figure is fine. I see some nice ones on ebay with like 36,000 miles go for about the mid to up 30's. My fathers car is a !983 Gtsi QV with the euro front bumper on it along with the euro exausht. It currently has 8500 miles or so on it. The clutch was replaced about 2 years ago.

The car sat in our heated garage for about 8 years with out being touched. After about 3 months of work to it, its up and running great.

Now with the low miles it has and the great shape the car its self is in, am i thinking it would be in mid 40 to upper 40k range??

    Any help would be great

    Thanks in advance :)

Heres a pic of it (hope to get nicer ones when it nice out)

A perfect QV at a dealer with a warrenty would be mid 40s. A perfect private party car, with all service documented and up to date, upper 30's to very low 40s. A car that has been sitting 8 years is probably going to spring oil leaks because all the seals have dried out, and the 30K (or 5 years) service is due, maybe mid 30s. And with ferraris, perfect means perfect. No blemishes or any kind anywhere inside or out. It looks like a brand new car. All the running gear and hoses in like new condition, that means anything rubber has been replaced in the last say 10 years.

Those look like dealership asking prices, MK.....mid-to-upper 40K range is 328 money, and nobody buys a 308 for the same price that a 328 can be bought for. The 328 is more car, period.

If it were my car, I'd look for mid-30s, tops.

My opinion. A 1983 308GTS is worth about $30,000 to $35,000. If the paint is in execellent condition and miles can be documented maybe you can get a a thousand or two more. But, if it hasn't had a major service and the interior doesn't look like a 8,500 mile car, the price will be less. It is too easy to disconnect the odometer on a 308. I have seen 308 in the high twenties. Why buy any 308 for low forty when you can buy a 328?
