Thanks Tom, while she can't hold a candle to your baby I still love her. The 328 was the Ferrari I fell in love with in high school. I am interested in hearing about your experience over the next few months because I am in the market for a 12 and I think I have decided on the 512TR for Ferrari #2 and I will keep the 328 also.

 

Congrats I love my 512TRs. I think its the best looking road Ferrari ever.

Now I would suggest you call porterfield & get some brake pads & rotors from them for 1/3 of what FNA wants & 3x the quality

Ive used Pfields for years, great stuff & they will make the rotors however you like them, regular, cross drilled, slotted, cryo treated, whatever you want. You can use the race pads on the road as they dont have to be warmed up.

I would suggest putting the most aggressive pads in the rear as it will lessen her butt swinging around when you Really have to stomp on the brakes

They make brakes for just about any kind of sports car

When you really want to get sick with the brakes you can order some Brembo F50 brakes for your 512TR. My road 512TR was the first 512TR in the world with F50 brakes as they used my car to prototype them for the 512TR. Might be a good idea to get some racing harnesses first so you dont go flying out the windshield when you nail the brakes
