How sad, this proves the Nordschleife is a dangerous track.

The absolute BEST story I've ever heard about the ring is about the frequency of motorcycle crashes. Basically there have been multiple cases where a rider goes off the track, or is thrown off the track at very high speeds into the dense forest that surrounds most of the course.

The amazing part is that there have been multiple times over the years where THEY DIDN'T FIND THE BODY FOR WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKS.

Dogs, inspectors, you name it, nothing works, because the bodies get flung so far out of bounds that they don't turn up using normal methods.

    Amazing.

Indeed, several people died at the ring.
In the summer, when im every weekend at the ring, there is allways a crash.
90% of the time its a motorcycle.

Thats why allot of car drivers want the bike's of the track.
I dont mind, as long as they watch out!

We should all burn a candle and say a prayer to our respective gods for the safe return of that Ferrari's soul to that great scuderia in the sky.
