A note of potential concern -
I was visiting a bike store near Brands Hatch Kent in the UK and overheard a conversation, it went along the lines of the local Ferrai specialist Foskers being shut for the last 3 weeks and it seems that at some time during this period a group of masked people brandishing weapons, perhaps baseball bats forced their way into the premises and wrecked a few cars and roughed up the staff. I am not vouching for this information but if its true if anyone on this board has their car at this location they should go and collect their cars or check on them. The people discussing this seemed rather concerned at this news.

And/or were you wearing Ferrari Hat, etc.?

Please tell me I am not the only one with a Colnago Ferrari in this forum. (CF1)

A similar situation about 3 years ago. Symbolic motors in San Diego was held up, hostages were taken. Last year Ferrari of Beverly Hills was a drive by shooting victim.

When I rode for team USA (I was a lowly domestique/scrub), Ferrari was kind enough to allow us access to the factory for repairs when we were road training back in 1991. I had a Ferrari saddle and they all thought it was pretty cool.

Funny thing is cycling is a gentlemanly sport, many Ferrari owners in the pelotons. My home shop in Southampton Long Island is made up of very well-heeled riders. So bike shops are a good place to hear social gossip like that.

Now for a roof rack for the 550, still can't find one that fits.
