Jerry, I think that our interior combo would work better with this car than the red carpeting. That's tough on the eyes.
Didn't Malcom Forbes get a Diablo that exterior color back in '91-'92? I think he past away before he took delivery... not sure. Probably not the exact same color but it looks close enough at a glance. Not the prettiest of color combos I must say. Happy driving.
Thats not nice at all... What do you people think of this 308 GTB Berlinetta Vetroresina? (the color is Verde Germoglio) Much nicer in my opinion.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is. Look at the pics in the showroom section: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11204 forza cinquvalvole
How funny and coincidental to see myself in the picture of the Verde Germolio.I am the guy in the background with the lightblue pullover.Must have spent a lot of time drooling over this car in Gstaad....I stopped bidding at 36000 Euros, it sold for 40000.
Apart from the off-beat (fugly) colour, his opening bid of 37K is way off the mark. I wonder what his reserve is?
I sold Porsche's in the late 80's and early 90's. We had a customer spec out a 928 with dark green exterior and lobster red interrior. When the car arrived we put it on the show room floor for delivery and someone for a joke stuck little black dots on the seats so that it would look like a watermelon. I thought it was funnier than the delivering salesperson and the customer did.
I think this is a great color. Looks better then yellow. I remember that car- very low miles, fiberglass euro model with a Tubi. Wasn't the interior in need of work to repair the years of storage in a humid garage?
EGADS! It's one of those late 60s early 70s "high impact" mopar muscle colors. (For those of you to young to remember, alot of the muscle cars had colors like this)
Isn't this what they call "Kermit Green" color???? I kinda like it... Well...I have seen red F355 with cream seat and under-dash, but with firery red top-dash...and red steering wheel to add...the worst combination...really. The best combination for me is dark blue or green with cream leather. The next best would be black on red or silver on red....I love the contrast.
