Autocar's test drive of 612-------------------------

Thanks for the article Tony. The 612 doesn't get much love on F-Chat. Then again, I don't think that Ferrari is aiming this car at the typical F-Chatter. Sounds interesting.

You may think it's ugly but it seems to do the job quite well.

 

I actully like it a lot now. Esp in Yellow. But it still needs wheels with larger spokes..to hide those small rotors !

 

Actually, I like the car. I saw it at the Detroit car show. The only thing that I really didn't like are those weird bugeyed A/C vents coming out of the dash. Plus, the red on the show car maybe had too much depth.

Is the 612 $150k better than the new Maser Quad? You betcha.

Now, do I like this car for $250K US over say the DB9 for $150k US? Good question.

Do I like this car enough to move out of my Maranello? I don't think so. But I do think that there are at least 200 people in the US who annually will pay sticker for this car.
