Can a 3x8 owner please take a digi cam of the spot right behind the coinholder?

    I was working to take out the coin holder that we have on the left side of the steering, and noticed that behind it was, well red. Almost like a bad overspray. Werid looking.....

    The other werid thing I noticed that on the passenger side, there was a cip in the black paint near where the bolt for the seat is.

    The thing is, the chip shows red underneath. I thought at first it was a paint fleck, but no, the red was UNDERNEATH.

    I kept looking around the car. In the front bonnet, near the radiator, I looked for red spots, finding 2. Getting really close I found the same to be true...the red was UNDERNEATH THE BLACK.

    What gives? Is my entire car a really bad re-paint?

    Nope!

    Thats how they did it back then...
    They shot the finish body color, and then they shot the black for the other areas. So you will find black over red over yellow.
    Wait till you start looking at the welding job on the chassis a little closer.
    There's nothing like welding rod ends protruding from a Ferrari Chassis... :)
