Guys, Bought an electronic device that I thought had a dual voltage adapter, since I need to give it as a give it as a gift to somebody in Asia, where devices operate on 220V, while the US uses 110V. Unfortunately, I now find out that the device doesn't automatically convert, and is geared for usage in the US. Therefore I need to find the "best" voltage converter on the market, that will allow me to convert from 110V to 220V. By "best" I mean something small, reasonably priced, and that can be carried around without hassel. What do you recommend? And can it be bought via the web? Thx.
no one should know what the best converter is, that goes beyond geekdom. however, as long as the wattage rating is at least twice what your device calls for it's a good bet that it will last a long time.
