    The t-shirts are being made up now by fellow f chatter Dave. Purely voluntary; great guy. So far Leatherique, Sodacoms and Technik 1 have all contributed, and their logos will be on the shirt. If anyone here has a business logo or name that they'd like to see on the backs of dozen's of f-car owners, let me know. For only 50, I'll ask Dave to put it on. I will need to know in the next week or so, though,

    We are getting lots of interesting cars. We still need YOURS if you have not yet signed up.

    The menu and venue are going to be great.

    Barney is plotting a scenic route for rat packs of Ferraris to carve through eastern Long Island.

    I might consider buying a raffle ticket to win a chance at an exotic rental for a day.

    But I just can't think of any place in our area that might be interested in promoting a new exotic rental company....hmmmmmm.

    This is an excellent idea, and oh hey, I MAY know a place...;)

    Sam -- you can definitely count Gotham Dream Cars in for a logo spot on the t-shirt, and I'm all for a raffle.

    If someone wants to suggest how that would work (3-hour rental? a day? cost / ticket? number of tickets we could reasonably sell? % dontation to the event?) I'll provide the goods.

    Why don't we tie this in with the Trinitas Foundation. We could set it up like a 50/50 - 1/2 goes to Trinitas, the other 1/2 will go towards a gift certificate that can be used for any rental. How does that sound? As far as ticket price - well, if a 3 hour is about $500 than we need to sell at least $1,000 in tickets, so I would think $25 per at least. Thoughts?

    Greg, we have about 50 people so far who have said "yes" but not all have registered. I expect lots of "last minute" regs (ie two weeks before which is kinda the deadline for lunches at the winery).

    Vik: I'd like to "hire" you as the ROE marketing director. You generate lots of hits on your posts. When you think the time is right, maybe you can make a pitch for getting people to sign up.....

Next couple of weeks are incredibly busy at work, but once things cool down, let's chat offline on the great job of promoting you've done so far, and what else we can do to maximize attendance.     Nope.

    Ferrari said "no can do". I foolishly asked permission, instead of just doing it and begging forgiveness.

    FILA has unlimited rights to the Ferrari Line on all clothing, not limited to , hats, shirts, socks, pants, underwear, g-strings, whatever.

    So, no Ferrari on the t's.

    Sorry.
