This is nothing more than to say that I have been driving my 575 every day as a daily use car - to the market, to my office, shopping etc, and it's really an extraordinary car! It behaves like any regular vehicle out there in traffic, but when I take time to look at the fit and finish of the interior and feel the smooth delivery of power, it is mindblowing. Nothing like what most people unfamiliar with Ferraris think it could be.

    Just thought I'd share.

I haven't driven one, yet, but after sitting in one and reading about how "civilized" it is, what more could you ask for from a daily driver?

To me, the principal joy is the effortless power.

Ive driven a 550 and its a lot like the 575. Just a little different front fascia and a little different interior. If the 575 is better than the 550,(which no doubt it is) Ferrari has mastered the front-mid engine concept. Is yours an F1?

Mine's an F1 and the software in the 575 is really good, much better than in my 360 and far sharper at steep throttle inputs (and sport mode) than the Mas Spyder

Why to go Alex! Interesting about the F1. My 550 has so much torque that I don't think that a F1 would be that much of a benefit. Then again, I don't drive in rush hour traffic either.

    Good Job, DrTax

Alex, glad to hear that you are enjoying the 575. Your car, and the color combination you chose, is absolutely gorgeous. I have the red 550 that was next to you at the Ferrari Concorso in Scottsdale. Even with my 550, I’m amazed haw many things Ferrari has done right with this platform and drivetrain. It’s as comfortable a daily driver as any BMW, while simultaneously being the most powerful and competent GT I’ve ever driven. My question is, “What’s next from Ferrari?”

I too love my 575 F1.IMO,the looks are classically beautiful and the ride smooth with enough torque to give me a charge every day I drive it.That plus the sound of the tubi with Stebro pipes is intoxicating.

Late summer 2003, when I still had my F355B. It's gone to a happy home in Jacksonville Mississippi. I'll do a new lineup when the 365 2+2 comes home from the shop.
