    DRIVE! Scary... I know. I got my permit on monday, hold that for 5 months, I can drive with an adult with a valid drivers license whos over 18, and then I get my license!

    Take it easy out there mate.

    I remember when I first got my license and one of the few trips without parents in the car was to pick up a relative for lunches, etc. That is when I started to push the boundaries as one does way too soon. I was luck I never hit anything, but got very, very close ...

    The brain and your confidence are funny things, just keep it in check.

    I was very fortunate that my father let me have a drive of his MGB on a race track ... this fueled a fire, but kept my hooning off the streets, and off track racing I went. Very wise man my Dad!

    I remember the first time I drove with the driving instructor down Alief Clodine road. I was doing about 50mph...needless to say he wasn't impressed!!!
