    As far as I know Xenon was never available, not even for the last production spiders.

    i have a 99 spider with all options and no xenons.

    Never available.

    However, I was wondering if it's possible to (slightly) hijack this thread, and ask a question that has interested me for quite some time: is it possible to install aftermarket Xenon's in the 355, with ballast and all? Has anybody retrofitted their car as such. The 355 has such a classic look, and I think the low-intensity discharge headlights are the only signal that the car is somewhat dated. I would be very interested in determining what kits are available.

    Hehe, I was going to ask the same thing if F355 never had xenon option.
    Anyone??

    I know of at least 2 people have done it. There is a thread on the old F-chat board.

    It's definitly possible. Just buy a good kit from some place like Hella for your type of bulb, and install it in the front bumperwell. theres enough exess room almost anywhere in the front wheel well areas, ahead of the wheels.

    Very possible. In fact the1985 308QV here has Xenon :)

    I think the cost is gonna be a factor. Is it really worht $2500.00. Spend it on something better. I am not sure but maybe the 1999 355 Fionaro had xenons???
