Only a clown would lower a street Ferrari. A track car is a different story. Depending on where you live, the 348/355 is already low enough to crush the front valance if you're not careful. But why listen to me...Don't stop with the drop job...Put some 20s on it along with some neon undernieth Bling Bling Brotha....
I own a couple of bodyshops! maybe some graphics or flames and limo tint the windows, I really love the 18" dayton spoke wheels.. gold centers with spinners! maybe a candy paint with some pin stripping ! yeah baby...
Handling and reduce wheel gap are the only things I can think of. That is why I want to do it...I just dont like the thought of bottoming out everywhere....
thanks for all those that took the time to post pics of lowered 348 or 355, cuz thats all I was asking for!!!! NOT WHY WOULD A FERRARI OWNER BE STUPID ENOUGH TO LOWER THERE VEHICLE ANYWAYS.......... but thanks again for the replies that posted what I was asking for!! THIS PLACE STILL ROCKS.. HEY MAYBE I COULD PUT AIRBAGS ON IT SO I COULD DUMP IT WHEN ITS PARKED? NAAA I`M SURE I WOULD GET BOOTED FROM THIS SITE IF I DID. THANKS AGAIN..

I would assume a properly lowered car would result in better handling performance. If Ferrari didn't have to make sacrifice's to their road cars I would think that cars like the 355 & 360 would be a lot lower than they are. Whats the big deal lowering a 360 or a 355 1"? Done properly w/ a corner weight & alignment afterwards I bet the car would handle even better than it does w/ the factory set-up. Final results in my opinion would be a better handling car & also looks are improved by illiminating wheel gap. I don't understand what the big deal is?
Sacrifices!!?? You obvoiusly do not know what you are talking about and have probably never driven a 348 or an F355. Go take one - sacrifices and all - for a run and then come back and enlighten us with your wisdom. I'm sure it will drive circles around your Honda...Sacrifices and all... Have you ever been to a performace driving school? Yes, lowering a car will lower the center of gravity and in turn improve cornering. But let's be realistic. We're talking about STREET cars. How much extra cornering does one need on the street? Unless you want to run around on public roads pretending you're Michael Schumacher and make a public nuisance of yourself. The other reason for lowering a street car is for looks. Ferrari drivers should not be posers. Lowering is just too ghetto for my taste.
