Carbon fibre?
For those that claim the 360 is substantially quicker, note that variable valve timing (intake) may make the 360 FEEL quicker, but it really is only a few tenths of a second here and there, maybe 150 lbs less (despite all that aluminum!) and 10 hp...wouldnt mind seeing 355 dyno next to stock 360...anyhow, thats what i think, the 35 has more classic 3XX interior, and is more a ferrari to look at...
All tests in any car magazine you take will show, that the 360 is not that much quicker than the 355 concerning acceleration. E.g. let's take the numbers for 0-200 km/h. In a 360 it will take about 16 to 16.5 seconds, early 355 done it in 16.5 to 17 seconds. Later modells were far slower, between 18 and 19 seconds (don't know the reason). But where the 360 is sustantially superior to the 355 is chassis, rigidity, handling and overall performance (with a competitive driver).
this is somewhat ttrue,,,the 355 feels dead below 5k rpm whereas the 360 has more low end punch and revs quicker, my old r andt adn car and drivers had the 360 .3 quicker to 60 and .4 quicker to 1/4..as far as interiors go, the 360s is better quilt and much nice to look at and be in...the355 interior always always looks chinzy to me....those gages look like a cheap kit cars........my z06 interior was nicer than the 355s even with all that plastic!!!!
