I don't have time to do jack, and my business is in the R/C hobby industry! I started Performance Devices last year with six part numbers selling to the US hobby market. In the last twelve months, I have over 600 P/N's with about 400 on the way. Since my time is shared as a regional manager with my crystal supplier, I work 16+ hour days, about 7 days a week running both businesses. Six months ago, I bought a couple of karts that I sneak out a couple weekend days a month to blow off some steam. I do miss playing golf, karting more, panning for gold (and that's 50 feet off my deck!) and playing poker....At least I can enjoy some schotch while I'm at home! Maybe I'll become an alky!

I used to have hobbies, then I got married and started grad school.

Is it a hobby if you don't enjoy it? Used to ride my Ducati on Saturdays, now spend most Sat afternoons sitting in the mall waiting for my wife (usually studying). I will never admit that doing homework and shopping are my hobbies, more like bad habits.

Hopefully next year after I complete my Ph.D. I can get back into watching movies, playing the guitar, motorcycles, working out, and sleeping.

I do still collect die-cast motorcycles, Ducati books, and of course Ferrari literature.

Is anyone into any martial arts? I know JSL is a black belt in something...

I've been looking for something to do to stay physically active and possibly compete, and something called "Kendo" seemed really cool. It is basically sword fighting japanese-style. I'm not sure though, I really liked wrestling and kendo is more hands off while some other form of martial arts are more hands on fighting styles.

One of my friends does jui jitsu, so I might look into that as well.

Depends whether a 3x8 would give you more enjoyment than a small collection of muscle cars.

    I play guitar also.
