    Sebring 12 hour race ended yesterday. A Corvette came in first in the GTS class and fourth overall. It lost only to three Audi R8s. That is understandable. My 575 came in second to the Corvette beating the Saleen S-7 in the GTS class.

    The 360 came in seventh in the GT class and just behind the 575 overall. Nuts. My question is why did so many Porsche GT class cars beat my beloved 575?

    They were faster, or they covered more distance..................

    :D, great answer :D :D ...

    Porsches have dominated this sort of racing for years. Those F575's are extremely expensive I would not be surprised if many of the Porsches had far better drivers, etc.

    The problem with these long distance races, is that you get journeymen amature drivers filling up the grid ... hardly a fair representative of a cars true abilities.
