Hi there, Have a '97 355. Post that driver door locks to seems to come loose enough to create a gap between window and seal, along with a slight gap with rest of body. I've taken the allen wrench a few times, retightened it, and it seems to hold fine for a few weeks. I really put some elbow grease into it this past time and hope that it holds . Question is, am I missing something when I retighten or was I just being a wuss the first time I readjusted (loaded question)? Adjustment seems simple enough.....

Perhaps a little Loctite 242 (medium strength, blue) would be in order?

I'd talk to a dealer/specialist and see how much they tighten these bolts to. It's more than possible to overtighten bolts which can lead to problems.

They may also tell you that they always use threadlock (the Loctite stuff)...
