No 70%.......he is also ready to pay 100% -top-price for the right toy He wants to drive/race the Bugatti - he has no museum! We will wait & see whats on the market. Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
It is right well, this kind of toy it is necessary to make use and not to leave them of it in a museum !!!!
Hi Wolfgang This maybe not the kind of Bugatti your friend is looking for, but today I came accross one in Brussels which i thought was very nice. Joren and I visited today a garage in Brussels called 'Vanderveken' Check out the website http://www.vdvgrant.be There were so many beauties in there, but i'll post the pics of the Bugatti Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The 35 A indeed looks nice. BUT the 35 A was built as a course imitation, for those customers who could not afford a real 35. the chassis is the same as on the Grand Prix car, but not so for the brakes and the engine. The engine is the one also used in the 38 if I remembers right, and therefore from a touring car, and it does not perform like the real Grand Prix car. Carsten, thanks buddy, you are a great one I think its time to get you and my friend together in touch. I`m sure you can help him much better and serious with more infos & knowkedge I will drop you a PM later. Stay in touch Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
Oh yes, Carsten is a real expert & lover Have a look on his web-site: http://www.bugattiart.com I`m sure he can help my friend, with all his contacts and knowledge, to find the right toy for the 2005 MM and many, many more vintage-events-racing!
Hi Wolfgang, Sorry I have not responded to the last couple of replies, but unfortunately I had by mistake unsubscribed to the thread and did'nt notice the new replies until now.... WOW.... thanks guys I'm really flattered, and I'll be glad to help your friend find the right toy!!! Only toys like these is not often for sale, and it could take a while to spot an original, considering the fact that only 290 examples were built of the Type 37.... and out of these only 67 were the supercharged 37A model. Moreover some of these have been lost over the years, so it could prove difficult I guess. But still I'm willing to help if you're serious..... CU Carsten
Carsten, thanks a lot buddy. Wow, just and only 67!!!!!!! I think we have time enough and are not in a rush, and if it doesn`t works for the 2005MM the 2006MM will come We will stay in touch.
Unfortunately, this very nice Bugatti doesn't look this good anymore. It suffered major damage during the fire that was in the garage today
Hi Bertus, Nice to meet you! Yes I saw the pics, in the new bonkers thread......what a disaster....and what a waste..... I'm deeply touched by the fact that more unreplaceable treasures like this suffered badly damage in the fire.... I surely hope that they will be able to save as much as possible and restore what can be restored..... Ooh my god.... Truly I'm still in chok over this accident! However, it's nice to meet some new faces here on the fchat.....I'm relatively new, and have not yet got to know a lot of the users in here..... Hope to talk to you again soon... Best regards Carsten Christiansen Automotive artist http://www.bugattiart.com
Hi Carsten, nice to meet you to ! I'm still in shock also, the fact that i visited this garage last week and that then they were all in mint condition and today as soon as i heard the news i went over there and what i saw was just heartbraking. I'm also a big Bugatti fan and i like your work very much. If you exhibit sometime in Belgium please let me know Best regards B
Hi Bertus, Thank you Bertus, I'll let you know for sure. My father in law was just in Belgium last week at an M.G workshop meeting, finding parts for his 1931 M.G. M-type. He is the founder of the Danish M.G. Club back in 1973 and also he is a classic car fanatic like all of us in here. I have not got any plans about Belgium right now, but I'll be in Düsseldorf 3rd-4th July this summer for the European Concours d'Elegance.Thats fairly close to the Belgian border. Would be very nice to meet some of the guys from here at this show.... Best regards Carsten Christiansen Automotive artist http://www.bugattiart.com
@Wolfgang, I'm still waiting for the call from the gentleman in Copenhagen But I'll let you know as soon as I have any news on the "toys"!!! CU later Yours Carsten
Hi Carsten, thanks in advance and no problem....we are happy to wait for the "toy". Stay in touch Wolfgang
OHHHH Bert, pleeeease tell me that you taped the documentary......I cannot watch Arte here, but a French friend of mine told me about the documentary two weeks ago BUT he has not got a VCR..... PLEASE Bert,????????? Greetings Carsten
I can't get Arte here in Brussels also, but i phoned my father and asked him to tape it. I didn't see it yet, but saturday i'm going to my parents and i hope it worked out. Most of the times when i ask my father to tape something he sets the timer that or i will miss the beginning or the end. I hope this time he took a broad margin
I would be SO VERY happy to borrow that tape when you've seen it, if we can get to some agreement on this???
Hey come on, no problem!!! I can see and record ARTE. Please advice me a.s.a.p. date & time. Its a pleasure for me
