Keep Viper. Get TR. Lose wife.
To tell you the truth, it is all personal opinion because they are totally different cars. You will need to drive a Testarossa before making your decision. I have a RT/10 and I LOVE it. The Viper is a RAW power machine, which, I for one LOVE. This does not mean that I would not take a Ferrari. It is acutally the next car on my long list. Looking at either a F355 GTS or 360 Spider. The GTS's, RT/10 (GEN II), and SRT-10's are also more comfortable than the traditional GEN I but if you are looking for a more refined and more prestigious car go with the Ferrari. Only thing you have to worry about is that the cost for maintenance. Both cars can be VERY expensive but with the Viper you can get an extended warranty that will cover almost everything unlike a Ferrari. The maintenance can kill you if you have not prepped for it but if you are then you are ahead of the game. Both cars put you in a special category but the Ferrari is a more elaborate version. Viper owners are typically POWER NUTS (hehe) that tend to have little bit more money than the rival Corvette guys but Ferrari owners IN GENERAL (F355, 360, Maranello, 575M, Enzo, F40, F50, 288 GTO, etc. owners) are in a league of their own. I believe that I read that the 512TR of choice is 92 to 94, is that correct? What are the best resources/publications for buying a 512TR? Yes, some really helpful people on this site, just don't mess with Jessica Simpson..... look at my other posts!
