Hello everybody. I'm a new user to this forum and therefore I'm not so familiar with how things works here. I only have a question to ask. Like someone of you I'm also into model cars, I only have at this time a very small collection (5 models) But the thing is, I've got two of the same model, a Ferrari Testarossa both red and I was thinking of if it was possible to paint one of them. So I was wondering if any of you had any experience with painting model cars? I dont want to ruin my car so I thought it might be a good thing to ask first. If it is possible to paint a car, then what must I do? Hoping for reply. Thank you very much in advance. Greetings Enter
Welcome, but maybe it 'ld have been better to do a search first. Take a look here; http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11890 This thread wasn't that far under the one you posted... Greets, Alexander
Sure it's possible! It may be difficult for someone who has not done it before though. Takeing the car apart can be a very trying task as well as remembering how it goes back together. But, once it's apart, all that's left is painting it the way you want it. I myself am working on a 1:18 456M GTS right now.
Hi Enter If you check out the link in the first reply you got, then you'll see what I'm been working on lately - in that post you can also read a pretty good "workthrough" of how to repaint a model car. Please feel free to PM me (Private Message) if you have any quiz, and I'll help you as good as I can. In the link below you can see another F50 I did. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11162 Thanx for your intrest. Paul www.SuperCarCrash.com
