That's the body kit that Fchatter WILLIAM H has on his track car.

Recently shown in FCA Newsletter, lets you go with wider rear tires.

Maybe WILLIAM H can give more info.

Is it possessed? Appears to be doing it's own thing with nobody behind the wheel.

I've seen that car a bunch of times before. I think it might be a Koenig conversion. Pretty badass. I might even have an article on it somewhere.

I also think this car is awesome.

But this car has a pretty outlandish color, has a body kit, and some bling-bling wheels. Yet I don't here "RICER" being shouted about.

    What is the distinction?

Granted, a lot of modded import (Japanese) cars are very distasteful to me. But some are pretty cool. Just curious where the line is drawn.

I'll have to use my laptop to see the photos but yes I have a Koenig body on my race 512TR. It uses 335 rears & 275 fronts if I remember correctly

The owner was a client of mine and it was featured in Road and Track.

Forget the purple car... I am demanding information on the car next to it. I see what I think are drag chutes!

Could that be the Norwood prepared 308 GTB with a 288 GTO body that broke some landspeed records? If so, this car was featured in an issue of Forza magazine.

I saw that very car at FAF Motorcars at least 12 years ago. I have some pics of me next to the car. The guy who owned it here in GA was Buddy Wilkins, he had 3 Koenig TRs.

Is is indeed a spider conversion done by Koenig Competetion of Germany.

    The chassisnr. is 75321

See attached pictures; the 4th photo shows a person in the car but he's

not the driver but the passenger (compare it with photo 3).

I must say the engine looks pretty impressive seen through the plexiglass.

Azzurro328, I would be very interested in that particular article!

I wonder if this is where Ferrari got the idea to display the 360 engine? or was it from the 250TR?

The picture from our shop was taken in 1989 I believe. The car was owned by a guy named Milestone form the east coast. We installed a Haltech on the car and a motor rebuild. It was set up with twin turbos and a blower, very complicated but well done. I did not know this car to have burned, but Buddy Wilkins did have a yellow Koenig wide body roadster with a twin turbo Koenig motor that buned in a house fire. We did a motor job and a Motec install on it in 1997, it was distroyed about a year later.
