I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you mean, should there be no back seat?

Yes, and she (passenger) should be between 21 and 25, stunning, great legs etc, and have a zest for life with that magical glow in her eyes.

Of course i would never mind being the passenger if SHE owns the Ferrari and drives it. Equality and all.

    Enjoy the Walk,

There's a segment of buyers who want/need a 2+2 Ferrari. Been that way for decades. Doubt Ferrari would give that up. Lambo used to build 2+2's, GT's, and offroaders before they went exotic-only.

I think they should build both 2+2 and 2 seaters. Nice to have both for different occasions

Yes. Especailly now that Fiat has the Ferrari-ran Maserati,SpA to take the fight straight to the other luxury marks of today (ie. MB, BMW and Audi etc.), they should just use Ferrari as a pure, high-performance sportscar brand. Just like what I think VW is doing, Lamborghini for the high end exotics, Audi for the sports-luxury, Bentley for the ultra-luxury and VW stays true to the masses. (Except for the Phaeton and the W8 Passat, I have no idea and have no answer to what the heck happened.)

I think the majority of Ferrari's should be two seaters, but they do need a 2+2.

I believe Ferrari should bring out a three seater like the McLaren F1 and the one-off Ferrari 365 three seater of the late 60s. It has to be a blast to drive from the middle of the car.

If this were the case, Steve would have to revise his statement:

Yes, and they, (passenger's) should "Both" be between 21 and 25, stunning, great legs etc, and have a zest for life with that magical glow in their eyes.

    LOL Chuck! :)

Life is filled with so many wonderful choices. But think about this for a brief moment, the Mc F1 has a "back seat"...

    Hmmmm...

I believe IMHO Ferrari's should be only 2 seaters. There are enough "family" offerings out there.

A back seat is a must have, with two to three big dogs. They want to ride in the Ferrari too!

You need a driver, a passenger just adds weight. Racing is what mine will be for. No joy rides or shopping trip.

Nothing wrong with Ferrari offering 2+2's. There will always be a market for them. However, over the years, some of the Ferrari 2+2's have been a little lacking. In addition, various other manufacturer's have built 2+2's with better styling & performance than Ferrari.

Why leave 2+2s to Maserati? That close marriage is only recent, and I still don't really think of the Maseratis as cheap Ferraris...

2+2 Ferraris have been around for decades. Just because they've recently picked up Maserati doesn't mean they a darn thing to me. That should change the model lineup that Ferrari has always offered?
