I remember a few other pics of an unusually long-nosed Maranello like in late 2002 or early 2003.

uh oh, alan hit the nail on the head with this type of style. i understand that keeping engine behind front axle is good for performance but it makes it look like a penis on wheels. f is all about style, style, and more style. these proportions need to go. return to midengine 12 cylinders

 

It does, a long silver, fast, penis. What the **** is up with the mid-front designs? I think its dumb myself.

 

Mid-front engine placement = 100% pure marketing. No significant benefit is gained through this nonsense, as there are plenty of other easy ways to redistribute weight balance aside from moving the engine back into your lap.

 

Mako, I definately think marketing has something to do with it, but the SLR and the Quattroporte have a similar arrangement as well. Both those two cars have received excellent reviews for there balance and traction. In addition, one reason Audi wants to join up with Maserati on technology transfer is because of the Chassis of the new Q.
