AC Recycle Motor The AC recycle door motor gear got broken putting back the AC box, so I bought a new unit. I put the new unit in and the recycle air door goes to recycle air mode only. I cycle the switch it only stays in recycle mode. When I remove the Motor from the cycle door and watch is the motor, it runs in one direction and never stops. Does anybody know how this unit works and why this is happening. THANKS
The motor needs to be connected to the door to work properly. If not it will run continuosly, when the the door reaches the end of travel it stops the gears in the motor, the ecu senses a load change then cuts power. After installing, try disconnecting battery to reinitialize the ecu that might help. Mark
Mark Thanks I turned of the power at the switch, leff off for 60 seconds, turned switch back on. Started AC, let motor stay in locked posistion for 30 seconds. Motor still wanted to run. John
I have the shop Manual through Vol 3 H-108. Is there other sections beyond that? The other problem is No SD-1 exist in the state of Hawaii. Does any one have a SD-1 i can rent ?
