    Former rally world champion Colin McRae has reached an agreement to race next 24 hours Le Mans (12-13 June) with a Ferrari 550 Maranello GTS prepared byProdrive. Scottish pilot tested the car on the Snetterton track in Norfolk last week, and will drive for Care Racing Developments team, who won last lemans edition in GTS Class. McRae team mates will be Rickard Rydell and Mc Laren test-driver Darren Turner.

    Let's see what happens!

    Hummm I wonder if he can get the little baby into a nice four wheel bonsai drift ala subie

    At least we know he is really qualified for any off track excursions to shorten the curves...

    That's awesome to hear, I am interested to see how he will do. He is a great rally driver and that requires a great deal of skill for sure.

    Didn't McCrae drive a BAR in some sort of swap car thing ... ?, and I believe he did okay.

    Once termed the fastest man alive !!!! But................

    .......he had a reputation/history of either winning the race or bringing the car back in bits and pieces. His style was to race flat out for the win. He was never known as conservative (i.e. collecting points).

    I think he will clean up in the FIA series.
