Has anyone seen this car? It is located in Phoenix, AZ, is a 1998 with 9,600 miles. I kind of dig the color combo & I am kicking around the idea of going to AZ to check it out. Has anyone seen it in the flesh? What are your opinions as to price? The only problems I can see is the passenger air bag pulling away from the dash and the ash tray seems chipped.

I am also curious regarding the color of the interior - It seems darker than the normal tan.

The car has had it's 5k service (I have no idea what that means). Wouldn't it be due for it's 5 year / 30k major?

yeah, that's like the darker tobaco interior.
It kind of looks like British Racing Green... which is kind of funny on a non-British car. But, I think it looks really good. Challenge grill is definitely nice.

I don't get why people still leave the plastic in the cars. Its like marrying your highschool sweetheart and then using a condom.

This color is VERY hard to resell.

I always like to hear from you Martin.

What do you think a fair price is?

    Jerry,

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! If you are not going to get blue, just get yellow! That green is um...not the most beautiful color. Eh well. Hope its a REALLy good deal. That being said, I LOVE F355s, so if you need a travel companion, let me know! :D

If the car was red and had a 30K I'd say mid $90s about.
Since it is green I'd discount $ 8,000 for the color. And make sure it is fully documented.

    PPI is necessary.

No 30K, deduct $5000 and do it yourself (meaning at your mechanic)

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks Martin.

LAFUN - I am not a yellow kind of guy. But I like things that are different. :)

One of the other folks had nearly this color combo at the FCR last year and I must say it was quite striking. Better to be different than the same I always say but understand not as many others will share you opinion when it comes to resale. At least you can take Martin's advice and free up the carpet for your own pleasure!

color liking is to each his own, but when you re-sell, you are likely to take a hit unless you somehow find a buyer who likes green like you.

LOL I know that since we have had the convo. I figured either get blue since it is your first choice, or just go wild! :D You only live once
