As the article says you fight fire with fire. Conservatives started with this stragedy, and now the left is using it against them. Crying foul over something they started, typical.

also as the article said.....imagine what the new york times etc would have to say about a private meeting between bush and fox news at camp david....

there is plenty of mud slinging going on, on both sides, for sure, but can't help but think kerry is getting a bit of a leg-up when these people are coaching and siding with him. whatever. just found it an interesting occurrence that had not received much media attention.

Have to agree with Art for the most part. However, the right has never had, nor wil it ever have, the mainstream media as its nearly-overt cheerleaders, IMO. And that makes a BIG difference. Just watch the news spin on all networks but Fox after the DNC convention. It will be overt...and will get more so as November approaches.

Right on Dave, and the left will say FOX NEWS is the right's cheerleader, OK...so what if they are? By my count thats roughly thousands of news media outlets, both print and broadcast TV in the left's corner VS. 2 for the right (FOX and Wall Street Journal) It is about time after 50 years of left-leaning, naked and unabashed partisanship on the part of the new media that the right had our side heard. And Art, you cannot even try to say this is opinion and not factual because, as you have said regarding Tricky Dick Clarke, there are TOO MANY so-called journalists "coming out" of their liberal closet. The list is too vast to ennumerate but a few noteworthy leftist-luminaries include: Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather, Andy Rooney, Cokie Roberts, George Stephanopulous, Diane Sawyer, Bawbawa Wawlters, et al. That, coupled with the utter plagiarism and lying that is being exposed on an almost daily basis with other "institutions" such as The New York Times (All the lies that are fit to print) and USA Today further demonstrate that when you can't compete in the marketplace of ideas, which the dems have clearly demonstrated they cannot, you must resort to "crafting the news." I believe William Randolph Hurst was once heard to utter, rumor has it, "you give me the pictures and I'll give you the war" or something to that effect. Ah...yes, "yellow journalism" is alive and well and firmly ensconced amidst the mainstream's pillars of journalism.
