I happened to catch it last night, and I just can't believe what a spoilt, demanding people we have become. All the problems bar one were of the passengers' making, yet they blamed the airline (SouthWest) in each case.

There was one instance of a triple-bypass patient's medication making it onto a flight when the patient did not (although I would pack at least a day's supply in the carry-on). The airline gave the family a hard time before getting them a ticket on another carrier, which I felt was insensitive and unfair. It would have been far better fro the airline to empathize (even though it was not completely their fault--if you need life-saving medication, make sure it is accessible in carry-on luggage, don't check it, duh!!) and gotten them tickets proactively, rather than forcing the passengers to demand it for hours. That was SouthWest's mistake.

But getting spousal releases for children, proper immigration documentation, packing to stay under the weight limit, not losing printed tickets, etc., etc. are all YOUR responsibility. If there's a screw-up, yelling at the staff boarding the flight is NOT going to fix it. Do people really behave like this? Why do airport/airline staff tolerate it?

Didn't see the show, but their ads are fabulous.

"You can't join the mile high club by riding a bus..." says an advertisement A&E uses on NYC busses.

Just did a search online and this is slated for the next episode.

An inebriated passenger is escorted from the airport by nine police officers; an overweight customer is forced to buy two tickets; a passenger complains that a staff member spends too much time in the bathroom.

    Lol!!!
    Next Sunday, 10pm, PST.

Thanks for the reminder - keep missing the show (adverts look promising) - then again, I don't watch much TV...

I've caught the show a couple of times, and i've been entertained every time. It never ceases to amaze me how ignorant some people are...

Every episode has one of these:

Something goes wrong where passenger starts yelling at gate agent. Gate agent says sorry and tries to fix problem. Passenger looks into camera and talks about how they're never going to fly Southwest again, and then surprise surprise the Lawsuit word gets tossed arround as they have this big grin on their face.

This show was originally a BBC production where they followed Easyjet out of England. Much funnier and better spirited. It is either editing or the UK public is much more polite than the US counterparts. Easyjet is there version of Southwest cattlecar analogy and all.

And each show has a few drunks thrown in. A word of advice to everyone- don't spend hours at the bar, try to board the plane drunk, than raise hell when they won't let you on.

As a general rule, most people are stupid.
