I've never had the covers. Never had a problem. Plus, I think it looks better. PS: I think we're seeing the 'backward response' here that I just saw in a different thread. I'm answering the question below.
Hopefully this will be my last question during my 308 general maintenance. I was wondering what the down side is of leaving the rubber boots off my distributor caps. I'm not out in the rain too often.
