Bangs/Pops on over-run (360)

Since I've had the Challenge exhaust fitted to my 360 (which sounds ace by the way) it pops + bangs on overrun when cold.. this sounds rather cool and I trust it's doing no damage (?).

I'd quite like to have the car do this all the time, is this possible or is the ECU too smart ?

 

Speak to Manu at Scuderia Systems- I'm not an expert, but I expect you will need to remove more of the anti-emissions gubbins!

I doubt if the pops and bangs are doing any harm at all, if all you've done is fitted the challenge exhaust.

As you say, pops and bangs are a Good Thing and should be encouraged!

I'd like my 355 to do same, as my 328 with stainless exhaust sounded frankly much more inspiring at lower revs on the overrun.

My 355 decatted and Tubi only does it when it's hot. If you've still got your cats on then I imagine it might be doing them some damage.

 

my 360 does this most of the time on overun, more when its cold...Sounds excellent...
