I'd like to try Colortunes, but I think to make it worthwhile I should have at least 2, if not 4. Cheapest source??
Hans my friend...use the "FROOGLE" search engine! My check shows this to be the cheapest source: http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/GUNSON02/InvDetail.cfm
Hans, There appears to be a high performance version of the color tune now available. See: http://www.rdent.com/pages/tools.html
Dave: I checked Froogle, but wasn't happy with the result. I'm quite certain that I've seem them cheaper. Just can't remember where.
Have you tried Gunson directly?: http://www.gunson.co.uk/acatalog/Gunson_Catalogue_Exhaust_Gas_Analysers_Mixture_Control_5.html I too was thinking about getting a set. Two would be great as you can adjust the two barrels of one carb, set it, stop, then on to the next carb.
And then set it, stop, set it, stop, set it, stop. I'm thinking of getting 4. Or maybe I can get 4, you can get 4 and we'll share?
I think it must have been the Gunson site that I saw with the cheaper price. When I last looked at their pricing, the GBP was about $1.60, so these were quite reasonable. Maybe not so good a buy now with the Pound up considerably. Do us Yanks have to pay VAT??
"...Or maybe I can get 4, you can get 4 and we'll share?" Yes. We'll meet somewhere in WA (half-way mark between us), we'll bring our sets and our cars, then we'll have eight and we'll be able to do each car in one shot! Should only take five minutes, right? "...Do us Yanks have to pay VAT??" Nope. At least us Canucks don't have to pay it so you guys shouldn't either. Well, we still get nailed with our GST/PST...
