    Check THIS out... Now all i need to do is go to one of those modeler's sites and buy some 1:18 Scuderia badge stickers and slap them on this car and i'll have one really *****in' model...!

    Pretty awesome, but now please enlighten me:

    1) Where can I get that model etc?

    2) What's the connection with Enzo? I assume this was one of the Alfas he worked on when being employed by Alfa and the car raced with the S/F badges. Can you confirm pls? Obviously I'm not strong in the early Ferrari history, but I always thought the Alfas Enzo raced were P somethings.

    Unfortunately, i have NO IDEA (yet) if this particular model Alfa was one Ferrari raced back in the day; i will find out soon, but i want to put badges on it, anyway...

    As far as the model goes, you've probably seen it and walked right by it in a local toy store... Bburago has a Disney Collection that's now in stores and this car is one of the cars in the collection... The catch is that the car came with some silly Donald Duck figurine in it; once home, i wriggled that silly bastard out of the car and viola! - instant cool vintage racecar...! :)

    Isn't that ironic: I spend an entire weekend at Disney going through all the gift shops bored to tears while I could have been hunting for the ultimate Ferrari car. Bummer. Well, at least we got a Disney store in Chicago.

    Keep us posted about the car's history. Worst case we'll have to put a "Scuderia Entenhausen" sticker on it (or Scuderia Donald Duck in proper English).

    Thanks, I read that. But I'm still not really happy with the answers. Yes, Ferrari was in charge of the Alfa racing team etc, but what about this particular Alfa? Did it really have the S/F badges for real and was it worked on by Enzo?

    I think other people than Enzo run the Alfa racing team before he came and after he left, so there is a chance we're looking at a "plain" Alfa without Enzo in its history.

    I also have this car in my collection, bought it as an alfa.....

    So, before putting Ferrari shields on it, some of you can show us ORIGINAL pictures of the car i'm sure, and we all buy decals........

    I found some pictures from our friend Fede Garcia (Spain Collector) where you can see the Alfa Romeo 8C with some custom alterations to do it Ferrari.

    Coming from Fede is almost as good as a real picture. I start to believe in it now.
    :)

    Also note the fine differences between Fede's model and NNO's. Looks like a small customizing job is in order. Donald, here I come!

    Rita, you have Scuderia shields/stickers that are in proportion to a 1:18 model...? Yes, i would LOVE them...!!! Please PM or email me... Also, do you have 1:1 scale Scuderia badge stickers...? i'm looking for two of those as well... Funny, i was on your site this morning looking for those very things and couldn't find them... Almost bought them somewhere else... i'm glad my email wasn't returned yet...

    If you're into Benzes, the other Disney addition i've seen so far in stores, is an old Benz with some other Disney character wedged into the seat... It sorta looks like the Alfa, but then again, i'm not very familiar with a lot of the older racecars... Have fun at the Disney store...! :)

    Now that I got a chance to read Wayne's link below I can answer my own question in regards to Enzo involvement with this Alfa: He even drove the darn thing himself in a hill climb race! If that doesn't qualify, I don't know what will.

    SO: Gotta go that Disney store myself now. And Donald Duck has to find another comfy seat for himself.

    Our local Disneystore didn't have it, but found it meanwhile on ebay. Made my own shields. Stay tuned for pics.
