I agree, while sad to see Troy go, I'm hoping Bill takes it now.

I think they should have cut Kwami as he hasn't grabbed the ball and made a play yet. Kow how you spot winners? They always want the ball.

It may not be all bad news for Troy, however. I read in an article that Trump said he was very impressed with this group, and he would be hiring more than just the winner.

 

Oh, I don't think it's bad news for Troy at all. I'm sure he'll get lots of job offers from this exposure. With a little training to reign in some of his cheese he'd be a great asset to any sales force.

Given that they probably didn't tell Troy just how his group lost, I wonder how he's feeling now that he's seen the show and saw exactly how he got fired ...

 

does anyone think the "whole show" may be rigged? I mean, the guy who came in and rented from Amy and Nick, showed up with what 3 minutes left on the clock............and the other apartment they all had to rent, didn't they rent it out with like 15 minutes left on the clock.......................If that Trump Apartment was so easy to rent out for 40 G's for one night........they "found a renter" (actually 2 renters, one for each team) in just 10 hours.............why is the apartment ever vacant in the first place. Why would it be available for rent.............kind of wierd, but I think these are good questions...............

 

I too, was sorry to see Troy go. He truly did work his ass off. I cld tell that Trump wasnt feeling his street smarts over text book angle in the boardroom tonight though. No worries... Im sure he wld be flooded with great offers in the near future.

I also agree that Nick and Amy fell into that 11th hour deal - not much techinque or skill in working the deal. I suppose thats the reality of sales, and biz in general.

I wished that Donald wldve allowed the teams to bring multiple leases to the table - Troys group had the opportunity to bring in a second contract.

Regarding next weeks teaser... WTF is Omarosa coming back for?!

But I bet some of Trump's real deal makers grabed the $40,800 guy as he walked out earlyer in the day, and spent the afternoon throwing in (casino trip, or use of Trump plane, and/or a bunch of other perks) to get him to march back in there with 5 mins left on the clock and rent that condo for one night

I wouldn't doubt your theory, but I think the potential renters knew that it was a game and new of the deadline so it is possible that when they walked in 5 minutes before the deadline it was not a coincidence.

Go back and read this thread from the beginning. Many of have thought the show was rigged from the apartment episode. And, for the record, I picked Bill after the second episode . I still want Bill to win but I can see amy taking it all.

I do think parts of the show are at least "creatively edited". When Trump gave his little speech at the end with Troy and Kwami, I found it interesting they didn't show him once. The audio sounded alittle funny too.... maybe it's just my paranoia, but I wouldn't be surprised if that speech was taped afterwards and dubbed back in.

I'm still backing Bill.

 

That's happened pleany. Whenever they show the back of Trump's head the audio NEVER goes with the video.

 

I agree that part of Trumps speech last night on his reasoning was definitely dubbed. They didn't do a very good job matching the audio - Trump must have been on the road or something when he recorded that part and unable to record the overdubs in the same room. It didn't match very well at all.

 

One more thing that stays in my mind from last night's episode, though it's a bit of a side note, is Trump's resort. There was no one there other than the staff. Is this thing a HUGE write-off for Trump?

It's gotta cost MAJOR BANK to float that resort.

and whats with all the TRUMP plugs the show has turned into a complete one hour Trump commercial, trump plane/trump tower/trump water/trump golf/trump resorts/ trump trump trump!!!

I guess thats why he is a very wealthy man...

great to see someone here from my neck of the woods....

 

I'm not sure how often it happens, but we had the place to ourselves a few months ago for a private event, and when people are paying that much to become a member, I'm sure he can afford one day of not letting anyone in for the show. The place is unreal, simply amazing!

 

Girlfriend came up with the idea that on the next show, since they are down to two 2-person teams, the losing team gets eliminated completely, leaving the two individuals on the surviving team to compete against each other to determine the sole winner. THAT would be real interesting! The challenge could be to come up with a plan that keeps Omarosa's body from surfacing ever again.

For what it's worth, I called Bill as my top pick when the show started, and Troy as my back-up. Oh well.
